SPEEDRUN.COM LEADERBOARDS

Global Rules:

  • Time begins upon selecting “New Game” and ends upon the final save being created after defeating Firebringer
  • The latest update must be installed
  • Turbo is not allowed
  • Changing the Engagement Difficulty mid-run is allowed
    • Please submit using only the lowest difficulty level used
  • “Cleared story”, “Hyper Movement Speed”, and “Fast Combat” are allowed
  • Video proof is required for all runs submitted
    • All videos must have a timer displayed on screen
    • Videos that are locked behind a paywall are not allowed
  • When submitting, you must specify whether you used the physical or digital version
  • On emulator:
    • The use of turbo, speed-up, and doing anything otherwise not possible on a real console is not allowed

Category Rules:

  • New Game
    • You must start from a new game
  • New Game+
    • The usage of New Game+ is allowed

For TA Runs:

  • In-game time is used. Time ends upon creating the final save after defeating Firebringer
  • A written route with your notes is required for all runs submitted
    • You must also provide exact stats for things like damage dealt, combo order, equipment changes, etc.
  • Video proof is not required, though it helps strengthen the veracity of your run
  • Turbo is allowed
  • On emulator:
    • You are allowed to look at memory, but only to see the current in-game time
      • This can be used when submitting runs, but only directly after the final save has been created
