I GOT A SAGA FRONTIER WORLD RECORD!!!

OH MY GOD I DID IT!!! I got the world record for Blue’s Story after over 1100 attempts and nearly 100 hours of practice! The new world record is 21:24, a world record by 23 seconds (I got the time wrong in the video. It’s 2 am when I’m writing this give me a break). The previous world record was 21:47 by cl_op_s, who held this record for over three years. Watch the run below:

I hope you guys enjoy this new record!

I made the first speedrun of Motocross Mania!

Hello, all!

I made the very first speedrun of a game called Motocross Mania. It’s a motorcycle racing game released in 2001 for the PS1. There is a PC version, but it’s wildly different from the PS1 version, which is why I make a distinction between the two. As of writing, there is no leaderboard on SRC, but I have submitted a request for one.

I ran a Championship on the Motorcross mode on the Quick difficulty. The goal of this speedrun was to win the entire championship as fast as possible. You can watch the entire run here:

I hope you enjoyed! I can’t wait to keep running this and establish it as a cool speed game!

I’m officially a Twitch Affiliate!

I’m now a Twitch Affiliate!!! This means that you can now subscribe to me on Twitch and give me Bits. You can subscribe at 3 different tiers: Tier 1 is $4.99/month, Tier 2 is $9.99/month, and Tier 3 is $24.99/month. Do note that if you subscribe through the iOS app, you will be spending more to subscribe than a desktop user. Additionally, if you connect your Amazon Prime account to your Twitch account, you are given one free Tier 1 subscription to any streamer you want that becomes available the instant your subscription runs out. You get a neat little badge next to your name in chat depending on how long you’ve been subscribed to me. Here are all the badges:

All the different badges a subscriber can have depending on how long they've been subscribed to my Twitch channel

You can get another badge next to your name for giving me Bits. Bits are the equivalent to pennies on Twitch. They do cost slightly more than a penny, however. You can get Bits for free by watching some ads. Each badge is earned once you donate a certain amount of Bits. The minimum is 1 Bit and the maximum is 5 million Bits (which is equivalent to $5,000 USD). Here are all the different badges you can get for giving me Bits:

Unfortunately, since I’m a new Affiliate, I’m only allowed one emote per tier. As of writing, the only emote I have is the F in the SaGa Frontier logo. The emote is called ffvdgaF.

That’s all I wanted to share. Thank you for your support and I hope I can make great content for y’all!

Website is back! Updates + new speedrun PBs

Hey, guys!

The website is back! My host did some funky things and locked me out for a hot minute, but we’re back now. Since then, I’ve finally started speedrunning SaGa Frontier and may or may not have gotten a 28:53 a couple weeks ago. I’m now seriously grinding the category for a top time. The full run can be found here:

I’ve also created a shared leaderboard for all of SaGa Frontier and am actively scouring both international and Japanese times, both current and ancient, to make it as accurate as possible. Click here to check it out.

Additionally, I’ve switched from streaming on YouTube to streaming on Mixer. So if you want to catch one of my livestreams, you can either find me on Twitch or find me on Mixer.

Anyway, that’s all I wanted to say. Welcome back!

New Super Mario 64 16 Star PB: 31:17.31

Hello, everyone!

Last night during my live stream (which you should totally watch on Tuesday’s and Friday’s), I was able to beat my personal best in SM64 16 star not once, but twice! (To be fair, my first PB wasn’t that hard to beat in the first place) The first PB of the night was a 48:09.04, which beat my previous PB by almost an hour!

Just a few runs later, I was able to PB again, this time by almost 16 minutes, bringing my PB as of today to 31:17.31:

Personally, I think this run can be greatly improved upon within a couple weeks to a mid-to-low 20-minute time, so long as I can consistently get all the basic tricks first try and complete the stages faster than I completed them in that run. Before I can break the 20-minute barrier, however, I will need to learn how to complete each star in the fastest way possible.

Enjoy!
