SPEEDRUN.COM LEADERBOARDS

Global Rules:

  • Timing starts upon selecting whether or not you want to play using additional content and ends upon selecting “Do not update system data”
  • The use of turbo is not allowed
  • For all RTA categories outside of 2nd Division, the use of System Data is not allowed
  • Video proof is required for all runs submitted
    • Videos that are locked behind a paywall are not allowed
  • The use of mods like HDLoader are not allowed
  • On emulator:
    • The use of turbo, speed-up, and doing anything otherwise not possible on a real console is not allowed

Category Rules:

  • [Protagonist]’s Story
    • The use of New Game+ is allowed, but only with data created during the run
      • This is known as Pseudo-NG+
    • The use of the Illegal Equipment Swapping glitch is not allowed
  • [Protagonist]’s Story (Without Additional Content)
    • The standard category rules apply
    • The use of Additional Content is not allowed
  • [Protagonist]’s Story (With IES)
    • The standard category rules apply
    • The use of the Illegal Equipment Swapping glitch is allowed
  • All Stories/2nd Division
    • The use of New Game+ is not allowed
    • The use of the Illegal Equipment Swapping glitch is not allowed
    • For All Stories, you must complete all 8 scenarios, including all of Fuse’s case files
      • The use of system data is not allowed
    • For 2nd Division, you must gain access to the dev room (2nd Div.) upon completing the original 7 protagonists with system data
      • Time ends upon hearing the music that plays when entering 2nd Div.
  • All Case Files
    • You must complete all 7 case files in Fuse’s Story
      • You do not need to get every ending
    • Time ends upon seeing the “Congratulations!” message upon beating the final case file
  • All Achievements
    • You must obtain all the achievements in the game from a fresh save file
      • The achievement progress bar must be visible on screen (see: koppa’s run)
    • The use of New Game+ is allowed
    • The use of the Illegal Equipment Swapping glitch is allowed
  • [Category Name] (With Carry-Over)
    • The use of New Game+ is allowed, but only with data created during the run
      • This is known as Pseudo-NG+
    • The use of the Illegal Equipment Swapping glitch is allowed
    • For 2nd Division, you are allowed to use Fuse’s Story to do things like power up Rouge
  • [Category Name] NG+
    • The use of New Game+ is allowed using data prepared before the run begins
    • The use of the Illegal Equipment Swapping glitch is allowed
  • Fuse’s Story
    • The standard category rules apply
    • Timing begins upon selecting a case file to play
  • Fuse’s Story – [Case File] – True [Final Boss]
    • The standard category rules apply
    • You must defeat the entire final boss gauntlet and face the ultimate version of the case file’s final boss

Conversion between timing standards will be done by ffvd_games if it hasn’t been done already.
