Global Rules:

• Timing starts upon selecting New Game (or New Game+) and ends upon seeing the game’s logo at the end of the credits
• For English runs: turbo is not allowed
• For Japanese runs: turbo is allowed due to the NicoNico Leaderboards historically allowing it
• Video proof is required for all runs submitted
  • Videos that are locked behind a paywall are not allowed
• On emulator:
  • The use of turbo, speed-up, and doing anything otherwise not possible on a real console is not allowed

Category Rules:

• New Game
  • You must start from a new game
• New Game+
  • The usage of New Game+ is allowed
• Any%
  • The use of any and all glitches and bugs are allowed
    • This includes using the demo version for NG+ speedruns
  • The use of Doppleslasher is allowed
• Any% NMG
  • The use of the demo glitch is not allowed. All other glitches and bugs are allowed
  • The use of Doppleslasher is allowed
