I got a RS3 PB at Romancing SaGa Ekiden 3! 2:16:53!!!

I did not expect to PB at all; I lost 6-ish minutes at Aunas cuz I’m dumb and I wanted to play it safe. However, I clawed out of time loss hell afterwards, bringing my time loss from +8 minutes to +2 minutes 30 seconds. From there, I got first-try Destroyer, something I haven’t done before, which put me over the edge to get this PB. Sub-2 is possible, but I don’t know if I’ll continue grinding for it, at least not with this route.

I did one of the first speedruns of McDonald’s eCDP!

eCDP = eCrew Development Program. This game was uncovered and archived yesterday by Nick Robinson, and I’m one of the first people to do a speedrun of one of the minigames. I finished the McFries minigame in 59.450 seconds. Take a look:

I got my second Romancing SaGa 3 Any% NMG PB! 2:21:18!!!

FINALLY! AFTER 5 WEEKS OF PAIN AND TORTURE AND ENDLESS RESETS, I FINALLY PULLED IT TOGETHER! This run was alright, but I threw away maybe 20-25 min to a mixture of bad dodging, messing up equips, and messing up fights. If I had a nearly reset-less run and go first try fights, I could get an easy sub-2 hour time. I’ll try to push for it, but from now on, I’m going to just prepare for the 3rd Romancing SaGa Ekiden Relay.

Speaking of, I’m on Team A and competing against linda_nushi of Team B (currently 4th place overall) and kenta_marukyu of Team C as the first leg of the full series relay. I will be running on November 20th at roughly 8 pm PST, so don’t miss it! It’ll be streamed at twitch.tv/saga_streaming.

I’m hosting an Emelia speedrun tournament!

Anyone is free to enter, so long as either a) you already have a personal best in the category, or b) you will get a personal best before the competition. It will take place during a weekend in January, but the date hasn’t been set in stone yet as I want to make sure almost everyone is available the day of the event. If you happen to not be available when the tournament is being hosted, you can arrange to have your race be pre-recorded and the commentator(s) will react to it live on stream. I got my first Romancing SaGa 3 PB in Any% NMG! 2:46:14!!!

I finally got my first PB. It’s a bad run, but a very solid first PB. I lost 15 minutes to my SOB I got the other day, so that plus however much time I lost cuz either the game was dumb or I was dumb means I can get sub-2 if I have a clean run with first-try fights. Just need to grind the hard stuff more.

The ultimate goal I have is to get sub-2 by the middle of November so I can more directly compete with the competition in the 3rd Romancing SaGa Ekiden Relay. I’m gonna be competing against the guy who’s currently in 4th place, so that’ll be fun :))))))))))))
